Northover Energy, formerly known as Northover Fuels is a family owned, independent oil supplier. 

Originally a coal merchants, we started at the outbreak of World War 1 by the current owners great grandfather, where the business supplied solid and liquid fuels throughout the South & South West.

At the peak of its coal business, Northover Fuels operated from six depots across the region. The decline in solid fuel sales saw the company gradually move its focus to the sale of liquid fuel to the commercial and domestic heating market and then the eventual disposal of the coal delivery business to the CPL Group in early August 2017, which still trades under the Northover Fuels brand. You can however still collect coal on a cash & carry basis from our depot in Sturminster Newton.

Our customers, serviced by our fleet of modern tankers and our friendly, helpful staff, rely on our fast, efficient service, to keep their businesses operating smoothly and their homes nice and warm! We do this by operating from our headquarters in North Dorset and by having some tankers located in Shoreham, West Sussex.
